Visions of Sugarplums

Well, hello!

How was your Thanksgiving? Mine started on Wednesday, and ended on Friday. ;) That's a lot of eating, I'm overstuffed... still. I haven't even been hungry the last 2 days.. believe it?! haha! I was sent a kit from Shell for her newest kit, Visions of Sugarplums. Very cute! As a matter of fact, all of her kits are too cute! :)

I'm way late in posting this, or even sending in my digi page, but here it is anyways! :) That reindeer has just captured my heart.. sigh.

I kept my layout very simple. (Don't I always say that?) Since it's a Christmas-y kit, I chose this picture of when my son received this police car for his present from my father-in-law. They both loved it! Still do, Tristan still gives Trinity rides around the backyard, ha! I took this picture the day after we hauled that bad boy home. You can't tell, but Tristan is explaining to Trinity the "works". Most of it is just stickers, but he loved the fact that he can reverse. lol.

Notice anything different, about this layout? Go ahead, guess, I'll wait. :)

It's not a 8x8 or a 12x12 layout! It's actually 8.5x11. I kinda like it. I'm working on a album for my mother-in-law, and made a few layouts this size. Her album is actually a binder. ;) I'm gonna buy a lot of sheep protecters, and cut them, sew them to fit different size pictures. I'll definitely post up pics of it, but will be after Christmas. :)

Also, I've decided to do something that I haven't done with any of Shell's kits.. I've gone hybrid! I thought that, that reindeer is way too cute, that he must be on a card! :) Now, I want to get better lighting on this card, so will wait until morning to take a picture and post it. So, stay tuned to that!

-- On a sidenote, I have 3 cards that need to be posted up also. Will take pictures along side the hybrid card, and post up in a day or two. :)

Little Peter Rabbit LO

I was going to post up some cards, they're mainly birthday cards, but since I've decided to make 3 more for upcoming birthdays, I'll just one big post. Sorry! :)

As a member of Shell's Playground CT Member, I was able to play around with her newest kit, Little Peter Rabbit. I love Peter Rabbit when I was little, and this kit is simply fantastic. :) I decided to do a boy one with this one, as my other LO for another kit by her will be a girl theme.

Isn't it adorable? Makes me want to pull out pictures of when Tristan was a newborn. :)

And here's my layout. I tried to keep simple, as I usually do, heh. I didn't journal, but will go back in and do it later on. :) Tristan's about 7 months old here.

Bedrock Babies

Shell's Playground just released another great, adorable kit. :) Her newest kit is called "Bedrock Babies", and oh my, I sure had fun with this one. I'm thinking about creating another one, and maybe not make it so girly. haha.

The elements are cute, and I love the color theme! Right up my alley. I'm a sucker for polka dots, but I decided to stay away from them this time. :)

I tried to keep the layout as simple, but yet fun. It did turn onto the girly side, which wouldn't be so bad, if the layout contains both my daughter and son. :) haha.

I'm seriously loving these colors! I made need to add them to my color palette for future references. :P

Sweet and Shabby

I have yet another layout for Shell's Playground. :)

I was given her collab part of a huge mega kit featuring herself and other designers. It includes 50 beautiful Papers, 90 stunning Elements, 1 gorgeous Alpha, 4 sweet Word Arts and 4 Quick Pages!! Seriously!

And of course, here's my layout. I only did one, just because I didn't want to have Tristan on such a girly layout. :D But then again, I did want to do another one and throw in the cupcakes.

P.P.S - What exactly does P.S. mean? Seriously. What does this extra "P" stand for in "P.P.S.".

P.P.P.S - Okay that's weird. But I've made up my mind, I want that darn Cricut that's on sale. And I'm going to start doing paper scrapbooking! *insert glare* But then, I won't have any carts to work with for awhile, unless somebody who's really, really awesome will let me borrow her carts. :D I mean, not all at once, just maybe one a week..? *hint hint* HAHAHAHAH.

Counting Sheep - Take 2

Well, I decided to go ahead and make another layout using the adorable kit "Counting Sheep" by Shell's Playground. I am in love with the sheeps! Since I didn't use any in my last layout with my daughter, I decided to use it with this layout of my son.

I tried to keep the picture as the main focal point, hence it being rather large, and unframed. I love little squares, so I used them to showcase some of the papers in the kit, while trying not to let it take over. I threw in a few of the elements, alongside with the papers, and added some behind the picture.

I intentionally wanted to have a title for this page, or at least some word art, but I didn't find any online that I liked, or that didn't seem to go with this. I just decided to leave it blank, and I'll probably add it and journal before I print it out.

I should challenge myself to journal more, or at least give titles. Heh. ;P Don't forget to Shell's blog to grab a free QP.

Counting Sheep

I am very fortunate to be chosen to be on the CT of Shell's Playground! :) I've already got to play around with 2 of her newest kit, they're absolutely adorable, and fun to scrap with.

Today I will be featuring her newest kit called "Counting Sheep". I love the colors, and already knew that I wanted to use a picture of Trinity with her pink mittens. I think I may just scrap one with Tristan, it's just that darn cute. :)
