I would like to...

I would like to be more consistant with my sceapbooking. I started on a project called "week in the life" by Ali Edwards but stopped after day 3. I was going to do the "December Daily" but never really started.

But, I've decided that for 2011 I will engage more with these projects, even starting Project 365. Making cards has made scrabooking a bit better for me, and does keep my interest, but what gets to me is the journaling. I used to love writing. My cousin would know. When we were younger, we kept a notebook. Once a week we would trade off the notebook, and whomever had the notebook would fill it up with stories of their life for that week. What happened to that notebook? I have no clue, but I think I should get a few, and decorate it!, and start writing again. Maybe, it would help. Btw, Lindy, wanna start a new notebook? Lol!!

I'm still working on the album, and a mini album of my cousin and I. I have a few sketches ready for cards, and will be adventuring in felt once I make my way over to Hobby Lobby!

Next week will be a busy week for my blog. Sorry, no pictures for today. I'm baking a cake for my 7 year old cousin for her birthday. I'll try to post up a picture of it, if I remember to! Lindy, "heytell" me and remind me to. Haha!

Besides, Mapquest and Maps apps, Heytell is becoming my best friend. Besides, I think my cousin responds to it faster than when I text her. Haha!

And so it begins..

...delayed..

Well, I spent about 2 hours, editing, cropping photos to be printed on 4x6 since they had a special that if you order 25 4x6 prints, you get 25 free.

I had them cropped 2x2, 3x2 and just regular 4x6 to scrapbook today. And, yes Lindy, there are some photos of us included.. ;P They'll be ready in about an hour.. eek!

Let me tell you, fitting 6 2x2's on one 4x6, and 4 3x2 on one 4x6 is apparently hard work! Despite, having a million pictures, it was very hard to pick and choose what I had needed and to make sure my cart had 50 prints. Luckily for me, there were quite a few prints that I needed to have printed twice. lol

But, I have a potluck dinner to attend tomorrow, and I'm making dessert and a spinach dip appetizer. I still gotta go grocery shopping, and make a few trial batches in a bit.. So, I'll probably get started on the pages tonight, but not soon enough as I had planned.

But, can you guess what I'm making? ;) You probably can't read it because 1) My handwriting is awful, and 2) the picture is not so perfect. But, it'll be a surprise for everyone once they taste it, and I tell them exactly what it is! haha.

Ribbons

Sorry, I didn't work on my layout yesterday so I'm doing that today. But, I'm currently organizing ribbons that my cousin had given me.

Here's a but of it. After this, I'll finish my layout and post it. :)

I'm not updating, because..

I'm making eyeshadows. :)

I'll be back on Friday as I'm working on a scrapbooking layout - paper, not digital!
